Everything MacroInsight publishes, including our news, data, tools, the free training and our membership products, is general information for education. It doesn't take into account your objectives, financial situation, tax position or needs.

Investing involves risk
All investing involves risk, including the loss of some or all of the money you invest. Prices can move quickly and against you. Leveraged products, derivatives, currencies and crypto assets carry extra risk and aren't suitable for everyone. Concentrated positions can lose more than a diversified portfolio.
Past performance, including any results shown on our scorecards or in examples, is not a reliable guide to future results.
Our membership products
- Smart Portfolio shows model allocations that follow published rules. They are hypothetical, not tailored to you, and don't reflect your costs, taxes or timing.
- MacroQuant readings come from a quantitative model. Models simplify the world, can be wrong and can change.
- Conviction Book shares our analysts' views on specific markets, with the reasoning, the main risks and a range where each idea stops working. These are the author's views at the time of writing. They are not personalised, they are not instructions to trade, and they can change or be withdrawn without notice.
You alone decide what to do with your money, and you are responsible for those decisions and their results.
Scorecards, examples and tools
Scorecards, worked examples and calculator results are illustrative. They usually use reference prices and leave out fees, taxes, slippage and the timing of your own trades, so your results would differ. Calculators do arithmetic on the numbers you enter: check the results before you rely on them.
Data, accuracy and AI
Market data may be delayed and can contain errors. We work to be accurate but don't guarantee that anything on the site is complete, correct or current, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.
Some articles are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a named editor, and the site answers some questions with AI. AI answers can be wrong, so check anything important. Read how we use AI.
